The future is here...and it's green and gold. Playa Vista has been hailed one of the most technologically advanced communities ever planned. Interestingly, the site is no stranger to modern marvels. In the 1940s, aviator Howard Hughes owned the land, built an airport and constructed the Spruce Goose there. Today, the community flies high as a model for green development. In fact, its green ways are pure gold, having achieved LEED Gold Certification. We helped with multiple projects within the Playa Vista campus (residential, commercial, and public rights of way).

In this particular case, we carried out plans for 15-acre site with five office buildings, adjacent parking structures and plenty of trees and lush landscaping. In the face of numerous environmental and technical considerations, all went well...we think even the meticulous Mr. Hughes would have approved.
